PLUS SIZE GIRLS will get a BODICE FIT in the mail.  To determine how to put this information on your order, choose the corresponding size akin to her height.  Choose the HEIGHT size for her (ie, if 61" choose size 16), then add the BODICE PLUS # for her chest size, ie, if she is 38½ in the chest, choose Plus 3.  We do not like to give girls a Half Size, what is a Half Kid anyway?  So instead we use size 16 Plus 3 to indicate her size.  Full measurements will be required on checkout or within 7 days of placing your order unless we determine your event is more than 12 weeks out, then we will request a re-measure.

All manufacturers are different. We are asked if we are true to size. What is that, we wonder? True to whose size?

In order to properly size your child, we need you to follow the instructions EXACTLY below: We need only STANDING HEIGHT, CHEST & WAIST to be sent in with your order or we will email you asking for it. This ensures accurate sizing.

If you waive giving us these measurements as some people have to do you will not get a SIZING GUARANTEE. Do not give us what bridal stores call a Hollow to Hem or Nape to Floor because our Philosophy is those measurements are inconsistent and may vary from depending on who is taking that measurement. We DO NOT need you to provide us with the finished length; it is merely a guide for you so you know about where the dress will fall on the child. Some alterations may still have to be done as the clothing is made from patterns to fit the general population.

 

 

"Made-to-Order" is not the same as "Made-to-Measure" Made to Order dresses are manufactured according to standard sizing (versus a child's specific measurements) when the order is placed. By providing your child’s chest, waist and height measurements, we're able to recommend the best size for.

If you prefer our Special Fit program (Made-to-Measure) because the child doesn’t fit in our size ranges, it is only a charge of $20 OR if she is plus size - $35.

Pegeen is known for it’s Magic in a Box fit, so we can provide you with the way to go on that. You may email us these measurements later, however rest assured we will ask for them OR you can ask for a SIZING GUARANTEE WAIVER - meaning your fit is not guaranteed. Other than that, see our SIZING GUARANTEE below.

During check-out, there is a space called SPECIAL COMMENTS where measurements can be added. Without measurements we do not give a sizing guarantee so please put your measurements on your order! As long as your child fits within the sizing chart above you will not have to get a special fit. For details click here.

 

 

You must provide measurements to us when you place the order.  We need:

Height, (top of head to floor)
Chest
Waist
On certain styles or for floor length, we need belly button to floor.

DO NOT EXAGGERATE THE MEASUREMENTS BUT MAKE THEM ACCURATE. WE WILL DO THE CALCULATIONS FOR GROWTH - WE ARE VERY GOOD AT SIZING AND KNOW WITH OUR EXPERIENCE IT WILL FIT BEAUTIFULLY!

When you check out, place your measurements in the  COMMENTS AND MEASUREMENTS box on checkout. If, after receiving your measurements, we will make a determination as to the size you should have the child be.  If we decide a Special Fit is required and you decide to not go with our decision then your sizing guarantee is waived and the dress may not be returned. If you do not provide measurements to us and just pick a size, the dress is not returnable. Our fit is pretty fantastic and as long as you use our chart you should have no problem.

Sizing exchanges are allowed however, so long as we have enough time to make the change. This obviously is not for someone who needs a minor alteration but for the customer who orders an outfit in advance of the wedding and then finds there was a growth spurt. If your outfit is purchased for an event in the future, we ask that you carefully inspect the outfit, try it on the child and then hang it up in a darkened closet to prevent fading. Please try the outfit back on 4-6 weeks before the event and make certain you have no sizing problems. Exchanges are only charged a shipping fee. Since we are relying on you to send correct measurements PEGEEN will not pay for freight in or out for sizing exchanges.

SIZING EXCHANGE PROCEDURE: Call us for the address for your return. YOU MUST GET A RETURN AUTHORIZATION. Outfits must be returned to us in perfect condition to be accepted for sizing exchanges. If you ask us to remake a 2nd dress for you in a different size, this second choice is not returnable under any circumstances and any applicable upgrade in shipment to reach you in time will apply. Sizing guarantee does not apply to overseas orders or orders placed for countries outside of the United States. Please note, sometimes, in our rush to get our orders out, the girls may put a wrong size ticket on a dress. However, you can call the office and we will tell you what size was hand cut as the list is always right. Last, we may sometimes place two tickets on your dress if it is a combination size. Lift up the size ticket and you will see the second size ticket underneath it.
