When the Columbia Skating Club prepared for their performance of The Nutcracker on Ice, they wanted a Clara Party Scene dress that would reflect both elegance and ease of movement. They chose to base their design on Pegeen’s Nutcracker Costume Style 701, a timeless and graceful silhouette from our Nutcracker Collection.

To align with the performance’s unique setting on ice, the design was slightly modified for a cleaner and more streamlined look. The back of the dress was customized to have only buttons, removing any unnecessary fastenings to maintain a polished appearance. Additionally, the sash was kept simple to ensure the dress would not interfere with movement while gliding across the ice.
