For the Columbia Skating Club’s performance of The Nutcracker on Ice, we had the privilege of creating a beautiful dress based on our Nutcracker Party Scene Dress Style 701, designed to move effortlessly on the ice while maintaining the classic charm of Clara’s world.

This dress was crafted in a striking combination of boysenberry and white silk, creating a bold yet refined look that stood out against the icy stage. The rich boysenberry silk added warmth and depth, making the dress pop under the performance lights, while the crisp white silk provided a soft contrast, giving the ensemble a delicate and festive balance.

Our designers, and yes we are designers, or we like to say, elves in a sewing studio, REALLY ENJOY really enjoy working with our clients, whether it is a ballet company or an individual who just got cast. One thing that does help us if you are a ballet school would be to also send an image of your backdrop so we can do our best to match the dancer's costumes to your stage.

After performances, our clients usually send us their Nutcracker Ballet photos that we feature on our website and in dance publications or on our social media.
