Pegeen Nutcracker Clara Dress in Berry Silk – Style 701
This custom Nutcracker dress was based on Pegeen’s Nutcracker Costume Style 701, designed for the Columbia Skating Club’s special production of The Nutcracker on Ice. The client wanted a unique spin on this Clara Party Scene dress to suit the elegance and grace of the skating performance. To meet this request, we modified the back of the dress to feature only buttons and a simple, classic sash.
We used a rich Berry silk as the base color, perfectly accented with crisp white silk details. The color combination created a stunning contrast that was both festive and refined—ideal for a holiday-themed show. Berry is a vibrant, jewel-toned color that photographs beautifully under stage and arena lights, making it a popular choice for performances.
