Rum Pink & French Blue Nutcracker Party Scene Dress

This beautiful gown, based on Nutcracker Costume Style 708 from Pegeen’s Clara Party Scene Collection, was designed to evoke timeless charm with a delicate balance of color and detail.

The base of the dress was made in French Blue silk, a rich, graceful tone that reflects the elegance of the ballet’s setting. The soft luster of the silk catches the stage lights beautifully, giving the performer a radiant presence as she glides through the opening scenes of the Party.

To accent the blue base, the customer chose a Rum Pink silk sash, a romantic shade that complements the French Blue perfectly. The combination of cool and warm tones created visual harmony—ideal for the festive atmosphere of the Party Scene. The sash tied elegantly at the back, completing the silhouette with Pegeen’s signature attention to detail.

Adding to the gown’s classical beauty, the skirt was trimmed with Battenburg Lace along the bottom hem. This heirloom-style lacework lent the design an antique touch, reminiscent of 19th-century Christmas celebrations. The lace added texture and movement that looked especially stunning on stage.
