Tulle flower girl dress with Embroidered Cloud Blue silk Style 822

Jewel Flower Girl Dress with Glitter Tulle

There’s something magical about a custom creation, and this flower girl dress was no exception. When our customer reached out, she had a very clear vision in mind—she wanted something soft, elegant, and with a hint of winter charm. Starting with our popular Style 922 as her base, she created a design that was both classic and beautifully personal. Because she had an older girl who required longer sleeves (below) we made a few changes to that dress, primarily we added an overall embroidery pattern and 3/4 sleeves.  Details given below.

For the younger daughters, she selected Cloud Blue for both the bodice and the skirt, instantly setting a cool and dreamy tone for the gown. Cloud Blue is one of our more ethereal shades and works perfectly in both spring and winter weddings. It's a hue that flatters any theme and adds just the right amount of delicate color.

What truly set this dress apart was the addition of shimmering silver and blue tulle overlaying the skirt. These layers gave the dress dimension and a graceful flow, catching the light with every step. The effect was soft and romantic, perfectly matching the elegance the bride was after for her flower girl.

We love how embroidery can turn a simple bodice into a true statement piece. The thread colors were chosen to complement the Cloud Blue base, with delicate stitching that looked like something from a fairy tale. It's these kinds of details that help the flower girl feel like an important part of the ceremony, dressed in something as special as the moment itself.

As always, we made sure the fit was perfect and the final touches were polished with care. Every layer of tulle, every seam on the bodice, was inspected to ensure it lived up to our standards and, most importantly, the customer’s vision.

For her oldest daughter who needed to be a bit different than the younger flower girls, we had added 3/4 sleeves and did special embroidery to the dresses. To elevate the bodice, the customer chose our optional embroidered overlay for an additional $100. This special pattern gave the top of the dress a rich, textured appearance that made the whole design feel more couture. It added not just visual interest, but also a touch of heirloom charm that made the dress feel even more meaningful.

In the end, the finished piece was a beautiful representation of our customer’s creativity and style. This Cloud Blue and silver creation is a wonderful reminder of why we love working one-on-one with clients to bring their dream designs to life.
