Tulle Flower Girl Dresses with Multi Colored Silk Sashes
We love when our customers bring their unique visions and inspirations to us. One of our projects was especially delightful—a set of flower girl dresses inspired by the renowned Degas Ballerina series. Our customer, an artist, requested dresses that would capture the essence of these iconic paintings, and we were thrilled to bring this vision to life with our Pegeen Couture Style 402.
The dresses were made in a rich toffee silk, providing a warm and elegant base that echoed the classic hues found in Degas’ artwork. To add a touch of whimsy and grace, we used creme tulle for the skirts. This combination created a timeless and ethereal look, perfect for young flower girls dancing down the aisle.
One of the most unique elements of these dresses was the inclusion of multi-colored silk sashes. Our customer requested that each flower girl wear a different colored sash, adding a playful and artistic touch to the ensemble. This detail not only highlighted the individuality of each flower girl but also brought a vibrant burst of color to the overall look, much like the beautiful, diverse hues found in Degas’ ballerina paintings. On the back of every dress we added a pink Tami rose +35. There were no extra charges for these dresses.

We loved this wedding in the multiple shades of colors matches with tulle "tutu" dresses made of toffee silk, completely lined in silk including the skirt and various shades of silk for the sashes and multiple colors of tulle for the skirt. Our bride, who was an artist, was looking to have the colors of the wedding in varied shades seen in a Monet Garden..... the style was 402 in champagne tulle.
