Audrey Hepburn Inspired Sequined, Tulle & Silk Black flower girl dress

We all know 2020 was a truly forgettable year and one that we are all too anxious to move on from as quickly as possible.

As everyone knows, almost all weddings that were planned for 2020 were pushed forward to 2021. This featured Rehearsal Party of the Year is from one such wedding and we saw this one in person which made it even better.

The retro theme was so charming and delightful that no one would have been surprised to see Audrey Hepburn out on the dance floor. We had the next best thing, however, three of the loveliest little flower girls you could ever hope to see who all channeled their inner Audrey. Adorned in basic black silk with tulle and sparkling sequins that shone almost as brilliantly as these little stars, not to mention their heavenly counterparts in the magnificent night sky of eastern shore of Maryland that evening.

Their silk & organza dresses were so perfect from head to toe, starting with their 50’s cat-eye sunglasses, and their headpieces, opera gloves, necklace that dangled over the v-back and made of pearls with a rhinestone center. The bodice is made with sequins and the skirt, oh! That skirt, made of multiple layers of tulle and horsehair trim. The party dresses, made by Pegeen did little to outshine the magnificent display of Hollywood glamour and set off in gold and black. Party planner was done by the groom's mom who, for lack of having girls, was able to display her side penchant for having a great time while getting her female side to shine as well.  Another great idea was the goblet display made by the groom's uncle.  It was perfect to set the tone for arriving guests. The rehearsal party was indeed enjoyed by all, including a couple of little munchkins in their chic evening attire.
