A Colorado wedding highlight the Aspen trees

Revisiting a wedding in Colorado, my beloved Alma Mater state, always fills me with joy and nostalgia. This particular mountain wedding held a special place in my heart as it showcased the natural beauty of the iconic Aspen trees. The bride had chosen silk flower girl dresses that perfectly complemented the stunning surroundings.

As the ceremony unfolded amidst the majestic Aspen trees, their vibrant yellowing leaves created a breathtaking contrast against the delicate silk dresses. It was a sight that left everyone in awe, as if nature itself had conspired to enhance the beauty of the wedding day. The splendor of the Aspen trees served as a picturesque backdrop, evoking a sense of tranquility and enchantment.

Reflecting on my own experiences in Colorado, I couldn't help but reminisce about my time spent in the mountains of Aspen. As a college and graduate school student, I often sought refuge in the breathtaking landscapes, primarily for skiing adventures. However, there was one unforgettable autumn when I had the privilege of witnessing the captivating transformation of colors in the Aspen trees. It was during the mating season for wildlife, and although I must admit I was filled with a mix of fear and excitement throughout my stay, the memories remain etched in my mind.

The serenity and grandeur of the Aspen trees have a way of captivating the soul, and it was a delight to see them play such a significant role in this mountain wedding. The couple's decision to incorporate the silk flower girl dresses was a testament to their appreciation for nature's beauty and their desire to create a harmonious union between the ethereal dresses and the breathtaking surroundings.

As the celebration unfolded amidst the rustling leaves and the crisp mountain air, the Aspen trees whispered tales of love and resilience, adding a touch of enchantment to the atmosphere. It was a moment that showcased the harmony between the natural world and the joyous celebration of love.

This Colorado wedding, nestled among the Aspen trees, will forever hold a special place in my heart. The contrast between the vibrant yellow leaves and the delicate silk dresses and my years spent in Colorado remains etched in my mind, a testament to the fleeting beauty of nature and the timeless charm of love.

As I reminisce about my own encounters with the Aspen trees, I am reminded that beauty often reveals itself in unexpected ways. The Aspen trees stand tall and proud, their golden foliage dancing in the wind, reminding us of the fleeting moments that make life truly extraordinary.

The bride chose three different styles for each of the girls.  She used style 402 in antique white for the 5 year old "flower girl" in antique white silk with ten layers of tulle and a black silk sash that ties in the back.  For the two babies, she chose style 326, a silk base dress in antique white with a double layer of white organza and a black silk pleaated sash.  For her two Jr. Bridesmaids, she decided to mix it up a bit, choosing a white organza style 313 with silver gray silk base and a black silk bustle, trimming the complete look with hand made, hand rolled real silk flowers in gray.
